Jasmaine Deloach – Candidate for City Council
Deloach is a bold, community-rooted leader committed to justice, progress, and inclusive governance. Deloach brings that same spirit of courage and service into her run for Center Point District 1 City Council , Deloach has dedicated her life to uplifting others through advocacy, leadership, and grassroots engagement. Whether working to improve neighborhood safety, expand access to resources, or empower underrepresented voices, she believes in meeting challenges with heart and action.
Deloach priorities include safe and equitable neighborhoods, safe housing, youth empowerment, and greater transparency in city leadership. She is committed to working for—and with—the people to create lasting change.

She gives back to the community with her "Blankets for Hope" program for dialysis patients and provides other services as needed. She was appointed by the Mayor of Birmingham to the "Human Rights Commission for the City of Birmingham in 2019. She also serves as a mentor for at-risk teens. She is a recipient of the 2022 Shero Awards for outstanding service.
